Day 01: Arrival at Chennai – Mamallapuram (60 Kms / 02 hrs)
Arrive at Chennai, our representative receives you and transfer to Mamallapuram and check in and time free to refresh. (Standard check in time at hotel is 14.00 hrs, early check in subject to room availability). Mamallapuram – the ancient port of Pallava and one of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit Seashore Temple, five rathas, Arjuna Penance and other sculptures of Mamallapuram. Overnight in Mamallapuram.
Day 02: Mamallapuram – Pondicherry (100 Kms / 02 hrs)
After Breakfast drive to Pondicherry, the former French Colony. En route visit Auroville – the international township for Human Unity. Later check in at hotel. Take a heritage walk or drive to visit Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Manakula Vinayakar Temple, beautiful churches, beach promenade & well maintained colonial houses. Overnight stay in Pondicherry.
Day 03: Pondicherry – Tanjore (160 Kms / 04 hrs)
After breakfast check out & depart to Tanjore, the ancient capital of Chola Dynasty. En route stop at Chidambaram to visit the temple with golden roof dedicated to Lord Shiva in dancing form. Upon arrival at Tanjore, check-in at the hotel. Visit Temple of Brahadeeswarar (Big Temple), Saraswathi Mahal Palace which today houses a Library. Overnight stay in Tanjore.
Day 04: Tanjore – Rameswaram (250 Kms / 06 hrs)
After breakfast, transfer to Rameswaram, en route visit Chettinad houses and tile making area. Upon arrival check in at hotel. Later visit Ramanathaswamy Temple & take holy dip in the Sea. It is spectacular to watch the sea from the popular Pamban Bridge. Overnight stay in Rameswaram.
Day 05: Rameswaram – Madurai (170 Kms / 03 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to Madurai – the ancient capital of the Pandiya Kingdom. This temple town is around 2500 years old & recorded as Asia’s biggest village. Local people captions that this town never sleeps. Visit Meenaskhi amman temple and the market around this structure, which reflects the concept of temple town. Overnight stay in Madurai.
Day 06: Madurai – Trichy (130 Kms / 02 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to Trichy. Check in at hotel and visit Sri Rangam Ranganatha swamy Temple, one of the biggest temples of Tamil Nadu dedicated for Lord Vishnu and Rock fort Ganesh temple. Overnight stay in Trichy.
Day 07: Trichy – Chennai (300 Kms / 06 hrs)
After breakfast, check out from hotel and transfer to Chennai. Drop at airport. Take the departure flight.
